The TOS Pro that we offer is different from any other TOS on the market. It has a patented control principle that transforms the driver’s torque into a steering angle. Even if that is a simple way to formulate it, at least for an engineer, it doesn’t reveal the true power. Among several benefits it saves lives. And that is why we like to call the control principle Pro. Pompously or well deserved? Either way, we really want to make sure it is not confused for being an ordinary TOS, Torque Overlay System.

In a modern premium truck you expect comfortably low steering efforts in slower speeds and higher steering forces while the speed increases to make driving feel stable and safe. An ordinary truck doesn’t deliver on this. It is usually just heavy and cumbersome to steer. But with TOS-pro you get the premium feel you expect.

TOS Pro natively delivers a steering feel free from plagues such as pulling due to ruts, cambered road, asymmetrical braking and more. It is also resisting impacts from manhole, potholes and other bumpiness coming from the road. This is typically even above the expectations on a modern premium truck. It is what drivers deserve. Being relived from fatigue at the end of the day, being able to come home and play with the children, instead of recovering on the sofa. Tyre explosions

A tyre explosion on a front wheel of a heavy vehicle is usually a very violent event, causing the vehicle to veer off road or into oncoming traffic. Or both. Often with fatal outcome. The high asymmetrical forces generated from the road into the steering system will be transmitted up to the driver and thus make the vehicle uncontrollable. That is if you have a normal steering and/or TOS. But TOS Pro is very different. In this situation the TOS Pro will resist all external forces and still provide an almost normal steering feel and a controllable vehicle, which the driver can take to a safe stop. Without any deaths or drama. Besides the frightening loud bang, rambling noise and jumpy ride.

Besides speed dependent steering feel, the feel can be adjusted in different modes such as light, normal or firm. There is also a choice to personalise it even more, with the Personal Settings function.

For safety we offer functions for enhanced stability for situations like oversteer, split-u braking and more. And yes, these functions get that extra performance boost thanks to our unique control principle.

And of course, TOS Pro will reliably execute ADAS functions as well as remote control of the vehicle.
